September Recap

 Hello Fall! It's so good to have you back. This happens to be my husband and I's favorite season! Cool weather, changing leaves, crisp air and a sweet reminder that winter will be here before we know it. We use this season to do as much indoors and outdoors as we can and so, this month is packed full of sweet pictures of our time. 

First, a trip down memory lane as I update our pictures hanging in our house:

Circa 2006ish? Such an old picture with one of my friends from high school who I am still friends with today and talk to frequently!

                       My babies! So little. It goes so fast and they changed too quickly for me.

And finally, we end with an updated house.  The pictures left over, Payton organized as we prepared to send them to family and friends:

Payton has been super creative her whole life. I helped her create a mermaid plate and we got some cookies to put on it. We had a special tea party together before she turned her special plate into her rock collection plate in her room.

I continue to try my luck at homemade food.

And the boys got out for projects around our property:

They finished our garage, a project my husband has wanted to do our entire adult life (and at each of our 3 residences). He finally got his wish and found it well worth the wait.

I crafted this month with Payton. A library near us has been doing take home crafts and we've been having a blast together! So lucky to have these services available.

A day of fishing with the kids! We have found more time for fishing this year than ever before! We love that.

Our pumpkins from our own backyard! We had some surprise pumpkins grow again this year and it's always a treat for us.

The pumpkin patch! We try to make it to this every year but missed this place last year. We went with some friends and it was so, so worth it! We had the best time.

More flowers from my boys!

Lots of outside time always! You can find us bike riding, learning to rollerskate, fishing, and overall exploring our world. But sometimes, we just need a rest day where we spend lots of time at home and watching tv:

We had another year of spirit week in anticipation of Homecoming and our sweet Payton even got to participate in the Homecoming court. It was a real treat for us!

It was another busy month! I can't wait to see what all October has in store for us!
