Avery turns 2!

 This sweet little lady had a birthday!

We celebrated her in exactly the way she wanted to be celebrated. Of course, there was cake:

That night, we got out for a quick walk before bath time and bed time routine. She happily posed for a picture for me:

Miss Avery,

We are so thankful to have you here with us. You love to dance and turn on music. You know every animal sound out there I think and that was the first thing you learned. Animals are your thing and you will go to the park any time if it means seeing ducks or dogs! Each day you help me wash dishes. You never shy away from water painting and play-doh. You are already in a season of independence and wanting to try it all on your own, but, my darling, please don't grow up too fast. Let's stay little for just a bit longer. 

You mean so much to all of us. We are still in awe of that fact you are a little human right here doing life with us. We have no idea what we would do without you.
