Happy Birthday to our First Boy

 Happy Birthday to our sweet Riley Bug. I can't believe he is turning six. We took most of July and made it extra special for our little man. 

We had family come to stay with us and just spent so many days celebrating Riley and all he brings to the table. What doesn't say love more than extended family that drives several hours to stay with you and then several more hours for a day at the zoo for the party?!?!? We were so blessed to have them all.

Happy Birthday! May you remember this celebration being just as fun as you are. You bring so much love and laughter and kindness into our lives. I hope you always say, "I love you," especially when you lose your train of thought. I love our early mornings together and watching you as you play farmer, hunter, and get your exercise in all before most of our family members have opened their eyes. 

I also continue to love that you are committed to not growing up and being my little boy forever. I am so excited to see where life takes you though as we keep being reminded we can not slow time down. 

Mostly, I am just so thankful for you being you. Thanks for being yourself. God made you for big things.
